FCP (incomplete) ????

just download (log and transfered) 720/30pn footage to FCP and under NAME it gives the file # and says incomplete after it Ex: 00041H (Incomplete) yet it plays fine in the preview window... is it ok? what is it missing? Thanking you all in advance for the help!
 
I think all that means is that the clip is spanned. Someone who actually uses FCP/FCS can probably elaborate, but I think you're OK. You can always review the material using P2CMS for confirmation.
 
Hey Kez - it is possible you are missing the 2nd half of your clip, unless you offloaded all footage from every P2 card.

THoff is right, the clip was recorded between two P2 cards on the camera (spanned). You might need to also ingest the 2nd half on the other P2 card that was in the camera. When you edit them together, they will be seamless.

Thanks guys... You are right. I didn't realize the last min. of recording went on the second card. i'm going to write a book... HVX and FCP for overzealous, attention challenged idiots!... lol
