FCP easy set-up not working - thoughts?

Hey Cannon users. Really need help fast and thought I would try here and in FCP forum. I know the mods will probably squash this one, but thought it was worth a try since I am stuck in a foreign country (not physically :-).

Basically, my easy set-up I have used before for 1080 24 HDV is not working with an error message about wrong preset or trying to dig DV in an HDV preset. It is 1080 24 HDV with the A1.

Trying to figure it out before I go to the border to lay off footage incase they take my tapes.

ps. My background is Avid, but this worked fine using the easy set-up a couple of months ago, I just don't know what changed to make it not work now.
 
So, the easy setup you're using is HDV - 1080p24?

Seems obvious, but I should probably ask if you shot HD 1080/720, and if you shot 24f?
 
Yes, same set-up I used a couple of months ago and no issues at all. Like I said, I don't use FCP and don't know if something changed or corrupted. Seems like an easy thing to do (and did), but don't know what's up now). HDV 1080 24F
 
When FCP acts up it is usually the preference file.

Try this little app

It will backup, restore or trash your prefs. You will have to reset scratch disks and your capture settings but should fix any pref file related problems.
