Installed FCP 6 Academic on my laptop....downloaded driver from Panasonic site too. First, laptop does not recognize camera, second, when I do the import from the menu, it does not show up as an import item. What am I missing...Laptop recognized camera when I had FC5 installed and the P-2 function showed up in import ....Any suggestions?

Try going to "Log and Transfer" instead of import. They changed it around since FC5.
