FCP converted P2 and PC can´t read it

P2 media to AVID

If I understand this correctly, P2 media (dvcpro 50 SD) grabbed off the cards with FCP is 'changed' to QT. I need the P2 media on an AVID, which wants to see mxf files. The AVID doesn't see the QT files. Anyway around this?

hmm....well Edius on my laptop doesn´t like it. Didn´t get to my real edit-suite yet. But to hear it "ought to" work helps ;-)
I will let you know my findings. In the meantime we probably export them uncompressed. They are beautiful helicopter shots of skiing action that can´t be re-shot easily.

Sorry for asking but figure i ask here since it was mentioned.. can someone point me to a link on this forum on how to export video on DVD uncompressed? I'll do some looking around as well using search option. If any one does not mind i'd appreciate a reply back. thanks in advance.
