I have been using the HVX200 for almost a year and have done many projects, mostly 720p24pn, without any importing problems.
But, on my last project (again 720p24pn) when I downloaded the P2 into FCP 5.1.4 it only downloaded about half the clips. The clips that where not downloaded have an red octagon with a "!" inside with a message saying "no data". I am able to view and play all the footage in the previewer but not download all of the clips.
All of the clips were shot with the same settings so I'm a little stumped and discouraged. I was able to save the missing clips by using another computer with FCP 6 so the P2 card wasn't corrupted and I hope nothing is wrong with the camera. Has anyone run into this problem and have some pointers?
I am using FCP 5.1.4 and have NOT updated to QT 7.3 (thank you DVXuser.com).
