I had supposed that my comment "after years of shooting super16" would have indicated that I'm not a newcomer to this - as a matter of fact I've been an Ables customer since it was Aaton in LA.
But you have completely missed the point - I said LIGHT WEIGHT lens designed for MFT with a 5x1 or 10x1 ratio - PL mount lenses are generally, as you said, very expensive, which wouldn't be a huge problem - but they're also (with the exception of super16 lenses, which don't work) designed to cover considerably more real estate and are big and heavy and therefore impractical for me. While I like using primes, I need a good light weight zoom - there are many places I'd prefer the AF100 - on a fishing boat in rough seas for example, where selective focus would add romantic quality to the image - but changing lenses constantly is out of the question - so the lack of a zoom with a decent range precludes it.
The AF100 is a very light camera, and with a good light MFT zoom would have much more appeal.
