Anyway, DirectingLegend, what's the big deal about turning a pic into B&W. Did I miss something? Maybe if you started experimenting with camera angles it would come out better. Try going around and filmming different things. For each thing you film, try a different angle. Then desaturate it or whatever else that tickles you. Yawn! It might come out better.:beer:

Daniel, I wasnt going for an 80s look. Those are stills out of old videos I did for some youth groups - countdown type videos. Short vids that are bright and flashy to start the event, etc. You seem to like the realistic type looking shots. But maybe if you saw those in context in the entire videos.

This is the splash page graphic from my personal website that I designed probably about six or seven years ago. One of my favorite grabs of all time is a little dolly test I did with my ex-girlfriend's legs, shot with my old VX2000--it's the image on the lower left. I really like the cell phone image on the right, too. That was shot with an old crummy 1.3MP Canon Powershot.
I always liked this one. Somethign about the color, it really didint have any CC, just adjusted the contrast and it lept off the screen.
it was for a private school, i was shooting a Promotional video for them.
this is a 500 year old Cemetary.
The sea side in istanbul. I think its straight out of the camera, i may have boosted contrast i dont remember. That day was Foggy, in both senses of the word.
