Production Journal

Production Journal

I will try to keep this journal up to date as I go through the production:

08.04.2009 - Officially throw my hat into the ring
08.04.2009 - First draft of script to be completed by end of today.
08.04.2009 - Tentative working title assigned
08.13.2009 - Received poster design from Mike

Actually, it just takes the highest score, adds .5 to it and assigns that value to my entry  (guess it's a good thing Jason changed it a couple fests back so Mod entries are exhibition only, huh?)

Really? I didn't know that... that doesn't seem fair to you guys but I guess it saves our poor mortal souls from constant devastation in every fest. Looking forward to your film!

well it's basically the old, "employees, and families of employees, cannot enter the sweepstakes" thing. Since we "work" for the site it could be viewed that we have an unfair advantage over the other entrants, so to make sure everything is on the level we decided to make mod entries automatically non-compete.

While most of the mod's are very talented filmmakers, I am a computer programmer who has a strong desire to become a talented filmmaker ... so you don't have a lot to fear from me if I were in competition (though I intend to do my very best ... so watch out :) )
