fat guy rental service

Looking for a woman
over the years, i've found that being morbidly obese has many drawbacks. but yesterday i had one of the best experiences that a grossly overweight person can have. i visited a water park.

sure, you may be thinking that fat people try to avoid water parks because they don't want to take their shirt off and expose their pasty, blubbery body to the rest of the world. they may not like all the steps, or having to stand on their feet for an extended period of time. not to mention the outrageous food prices that parks charge. but i'm here to tell you the great advantage to all those extra pounds.

really fat guy + gigantic water slide = tremendous speed.

there was one slide that had 6 lanes so you can race the people around you. you lay down on your belly and go face first down three hills on a slippery mat. even though i started behind everyone, once i picked up speed i began rocketing past people. i noticed that while others stayed in contact with the slide the entire time, i actually went airborne going down the hills. i even heard this one kid to the left of me yell out in an amazement, "whooaaaa!", as i flew past him. it was pretty damn awesome.

so i started thinking, how can i share this thrilling experience with others? then it hit me.. what about a rental service where patrons can rent a fat guy to go down the slide with. pretty much i could accompany you on any slide that allows multiple people in a tube or raft. after all, why ride down a slide as a person of average weight, when you can rent me and barrel through the turns like you're part of a 4 man german bobsled? :cheesy:

i want to hear your input. what should i name this company, and what guidelines should i set?

I'm not clear on the concept. I mean, are you suggesting that patrons actually ride you like a bobsled?

I don't know. Greased Lighting? The Cannonball? The Rolling Stone? White Belly Rafting?

I assume your having fun here. Probably not a good business model but what do I know?

But now that you mention it, you could run a big guy water slide charity event.
Bikers in general are open to these kinds of things.

Pick the Hell's Angels for example. A few big guys there as well and politics aside they seem to enjoy these kinds of events.
You could do a charity event with 'Ride the Slide with a Biker' or something.

Toss in a barbecue, beer tent and pig roast for later in the day, and a live blues band ofcourse and
you've got yourself an event that will raise money for charity.

And you get to have fun too.

Oblease is pure win!

And I'm not with Gord on this one. I think you have a great business model here. I absolutely would rent you. I get THAT competitive.

Not sure what your Hell's Angels are like, but over here they are very bad guys... In the drug dealing, prostitution and killing people bussiness...

On topic:
I would totally rent you uga! Never underestimate the need for speed :D As a quite skinny guy I tend to be on the slow side.

Man, you are always cracking me up! How about "fat slider"? But I tend to favor Rick Meyer's "The Fat Mat" till now :D

That's why I said "politics aside."

I've met many Hell's Angels and without getting into the hierarchy of organized crime and the politics of it, at the low end of the pyramid, there are a lot of great guys. Many are just everyday people. Sure, at the top, things get political.
But at the level I've met them, they've all been regular...

Sigh. Okay, let's forget I said that then. The ones I've ever met have been great. And I'm sure they'de be happy to help sponsor a charity event if asked.

Okay, that aside, let's just say any biker group then. Since the point I was making was , a group of 'big' people. Like it or not, there are a lot of 'big' people in biker groups. And more often than not, those groups are willing to support any charity they can. In part, because they want to help dispell the stereotype image they have of being bad guys.

//edit: I said, 'in part'. Most of these guys do charity events because they have wives and kids too, with the same diseases everyone else has. I didn't mean to imply it was an excercise in 'image control'.

Wow, that was long. But that was my motivation for making the post in the first place.

I understand Simon.
btw, good to see you man.:)
