GH2 Faster Pannasonic 14-140?

I need another reliable zoom lens. Thought about picking up another 14-140 but thought Id ask if you all have any suggestions..

I am very curious about the new motorized power zoom lenses..

It doesn't have the range of the 14-140 and it's not motorized, but the Olympus 14-54mm is decently fast and sharp (F2.8-3.5). The GH2 can autofocus with it with a proper adapter. I use it for narrative projects where I'm pressed for time since the aperture is large enough for shallow DOF and the zoom range covers 99% of my shots. It's a little big and weighs about a pound though.

I have that 14-54 f2.8 on my GH1 most of the time, and it gives me really nice images. Very hard to explain but it just LOOKs better. I can see the difference when I switch to Panasonic lenses (got the 14-140 and 20mm). The other great lens is the Oly 45mm.

Autofocus with the 14-54 is quite slow, but better than nothing.

If you are willing to spend the money, you could always pick up an HD ENG Lense, the kind for 2/3" sensors, and run the GH2 in ETC mode. For $5500 you could get the Fujinon HAS18x7.6 HD lens, f/1.8 at 7.6-105mm, f/2.6 at 137mm, off of eBay.

But you could pick up quite a few nice native, or at least four thirds, lenses for the GH2 at that price.

... Or an AC160 or HPX250. Not much incentive to try eng lenses and their problems with the GH.

I am going to pickup an ac160 later this fall but tomorrow I'm buying another zoom fpr my GH2s and was just trying to consider my options. Very tempting to go with one of the X series zooms.
