Fast wide angle lens to use with GH1

I'm looking to get a fast wide angle lens to use with my GH1. I'm thinking something between 20mm and 30mm and has paerture speed of f/2 or less. Any suggestions?

Note: I'm aware of the 20mm f/1.7 Pancake. I just wanna see what other options there are that might be a bit cheaper than the Pancake lens.

There is the Vivitar 28mm f2. You can pick this up on ebay for under 100. It is a pretty good lens depending on what you are looking for.

Also if you want to go above 30mm then there is the Nikon 35mm 1.8 which is cheap and supposedly excellent glass.

I'll be buying the Voigtlander.
Although both Panny pancakes seem good value to me and look to be great quality.

$899 for a 25mm f/0.95 lens with 10 blades seems pretty cheap to me. Almost a steal.

Perhaps we should note the difference between cost and value.

I've had restaurant meals that were more than $100 for just the food (back in the good old days of the dot com boom), and felt like I got an outstanding value. And I've had $3.00 meals from McD's and felt like I got ripped off.

Personally, I find the Voigtlander quite a good value. But with my current cash flow I can't call it cheap. Sigh....

At least you won't feel like you got ripped off.

+1 for the 28mm f2.0 Vivitar if you are on a budget .... try for one of the Komine-manufactured ones (serial numbers starting with a 28) if you are willing to pay a little more.

In realtion to the Vivitar 28mm f/2, what kind of adapter do I need to use it on the GH1 (is it an FD mount/) and does the Vivitar have manual aperture and focus control?

I just saw the Vivitar 28mm on eBay. I see that it comes with different mounts. There seems to be a lot more of the f/2.8 on the market than the f/2. Basically I'm looking for a nice wide angle lens for lowlight scenes (ie. a street at night time and the interior of a dimly lit bar), where the the GH1's kit lens might not be up to the task. I have a Canon FD 50mm f/1.4 and f/1.8 for medium-close up shots.

I love the 20mm pancake and use it all the time. It distorts faces a little for shallow depth of field close ups... but honestly... I kinda like it!

On the gh1 20 is barely wider than normal and 30 is a tele.
Not true. It depends on how you look at it... In respect to taking stills...then yes. But since we are all coming from the perspective of filmakers... then not at all.
