Fast sports setting - what would you of done differently

Hi, I recently shot a video for a group of Mountainboarders. Got some great footage when people were static, but when moving the quality went down. Alot. The settings I used were 25p for static and 50p for any action (maybe this was my problem) and a shutter speed from 1/800 to 1/1000 and 'Cranked' preset. Is the combination of 50p and high shutter speed the reason for the lower quality? What would you guys do differently?
This is the video in question:-

Thanks

when you shoot moving object the strobing will be much more in 25p than 50i and when shooting 50i you could get a much cleaner slowmotion. So for static shoots you can shoot 25p but i would shoot all "action shoots" with 50i.. as for the shutter the higher value the more strobing you get so shoot in 1/120 50i. Whats the Cranked preset?
