Fast-Motion

Hi friends;
I understand the principal of shooting 60i and then bringing into 24p timeline to make slo motion but not sure how to do the opposite if I want to speed up everything. Do I need to shoot 24f, 30f, or 60i first to do this? or just bring into the timeline and speed it up? Thanks.

This probably isn't the best or most efficient way to do this, but I like to slow down the shutter and just increase the speed in the timeline. Done right, it can look just as good as undercranked footage. However, there's probably a much better way to do this, so if anyone knows how, please share!

Jokerswild,

You need Twixtor. Just google it, you'll also need Adobe AE because Twixtor is a plug in for AE. The results, both slow and fast motion are the best you will get anywhere. If you don't have Adobe AE try what Aroon said, that will be your second best choice.

Good luck!!
