Fashion Film - beautiful girl

Why do people still fall into this smoking woman stereotype?? It's nasty and a huge turn-off. Way to promote cancer.

Technically I like the video. Nice angles, interesting location. The somewhat shaky hand held shots weren't distracting and I felt they added to the feeling of anxiety/waiting/spying that I got from the video.

Certain shots were slightly overexposed for my liking, but nothing crazy.

All in all, I give it a B+.

Huh? I'm not a smoker and againts smoking myself but ..promoting cancer? It's an art piece that so happens to have a woman with a cigarette in maybe 5% of the whole piece.

Anyways...drubynum I agree with the rest of what Voytech said including the shaky footage. I also didn't think it was distracting. I like the mostly blue overtones of the overall image. I liked the location also. I didn't watch it with sound on so I can't comment on whatever music you used.

While I agree and find this to be among the least attractive things a person can do, it may work for the audience in question. I don't know. It's a decent piece, but I'm not sure how I feel about the color tone. Seems a bit cold for what it was made for.

Didn't mean to cause such a ruckus. I was just trying to say that a smoking model is a commonplace in the fashion world (maybe that's how they stay skinny lol) and I wished that the OP didn't reach for that image to help make the feel of his video more fashion oriented.

That's all.

Feeding cancer never works in a positive way,no excuse and i would avoid that especially when showing beauty, for evil character it could work but remember that kids are always watching ,dont show them that its normal and beautiful to smoke.
Art or not art ,you could always tell them to not smoke when youre filming.
I know it hurts more when you see beautiful woman smoking because she cares about her look outside but what about her lungs inside.
Dont want to destroy the thread but "lung cancer people" appear on many random vids ,i think filmmakers have some kind of responsibility and should think how it would work on younger audience.
I dont think this video promotes cancer but its a downer and shows our reality,i dont want to feel sad because of another beafiful woman smoking.I can imagine her after some years seeking for help in hospital and dying from cancer. This is not beautiful.
Some people are simple minded and some are not.
I like some shots ,i dont like shots directly into the sun ,its too bright out there.

Sorry to go off topic: HAHA, are you all serious with your anti-smoking campaign? How many films here have guns in them and monsters and cars driving too fast and fat burgers and greasy food. All those things are hurting, killing and/or scaring children every day - millions of them. And you worry about a cigarette on a model in a fashion clip? Get a life guys!
BTW I am a total non-smoker and hate to go to places where people smoke, but I leave it up to them to decide for themselves as should you.

Now ON TOPIC: cool art, but IMO a bit too long. Edited in half you could show all you need to show as well....my 2 cents
