:thumbup:, it took me a long time fine tuning some steps in two of the upper chains but in the end it worked.....
BTW, I reached the maximun number of sticks and it didn't let me use more.......
Of course, the big challenge is to it with the most elegant, efficient design possible.

I started these w/o looking at anybody else's solutions... and I was doing everything with just 3 pieces... sticks and both directions of turning wheels... it was driving me nuts and it's a little easier using all the bits properly... still freakin' great though.
I'm laughing out loud with joy at the solutions you guys are doing... watching other people's solutions is mindless entertainment that really makes you think.

That one looks kinda dirty....
and, I can't believe you didn't quit on that one... I watched it for like 4 minutes before it finally changed and something happened and it went over the edge and you got it.
That's about what I was trying to do, but I wasn't quite there yet.

Matt: yeah, I dont look at any before I can complete it; I dont want my mindset to be tainted. I just spent WAY too much time on BACK AND FORTH. And I love seeing people's approach.
Jason, You never know what's going to change... as long as there is motion or a little hop, a machine stands a chance. There were some I'd watch for 10+ minutes waiting for something, ANYTHING to happen. Sometimes with no luck.

Ok, this is my THIRD failed design for BaF. The first was a car design, that I wanted to work like UGA and Jared's but I couldnt wrap my brain around going backwards then forwards. I never even touched the ball.
So then I decided to try to knock the F*er across. My 2nd design was VERY different from the one linked, but I couldnt get it out the other side. Finally I made this last one (linked) but not enough loogie power to spit that sucker across.
That's when I gave up.
I'm kicking myself looking at how simple and elegant your designs are.
(And I'm guessing the first time UGA has ever been accused of being "elegant".)

Dude that is very brilliant... I'm humbled at the thought processes here! It's really fun to see the different approaches you guys are using... GAGE... man you are RIGHT THERE! All I did is pop a stick into your solution there and it makes the bridge and works perfectly... and quickly! W/O showing you what I did... go back to it and draw a stick that will drop in the ball shooter... you'll laugh at how close you were.
I'm laughing at all you guys like I'm witnessing the discovery of electricity! That's a compliment... I love seeing the solutions! Uga has had some good sh*t now... I want to know how long it's taking and what percentage of luck is involved... otherwise that's freaky smart. FREAKY.
