Used my AC130 today for a wedding and all of a sudden I have a message flash up "Fan stopped working". I've restarted it etc, message still there. Has any one else experienced this? I've got 2 more weddings to film this weekend, so I'm a little worried it might overheat. any suggestions?

Hi Sanorman, only obvious ones I'm afraid. The fan is an integral part of the hardware and there for a good reason. You may run the risk of cooking something without it. If I were you I would hire another camera and definitely not use it for a shoot, especially if you are acting in a professional role. A failed wedding video will cost your reputaion a lot more than the cost of hire! Sorry I cannot help as I have not come across that fault code before. Maybe someone else has and can advise. the fan could be stuck by some dust. you could try clean it a bit (& give it a good spin) by put a vacuum cleaner on the fan grille.. of course with all care taken (obviously not put the vacuum cleaner completely on it, just near so the fan starts spinning through the air flow).
