The grabs were processed in Photozoom already. The teleconverter gives you partial zoom...

I'm surprised that there isn't any snow in the grabs! We already have a few inches over here in Montana.

Shaw, we don't get much snow around here....it gets cold, and sometimes we may have a week or two of snow but that's about it.

I have my camera at the ready when it does snow, though. :D

Yes, I was wondering if the "noice" is something like an animated effect to give a film look to the footage. I can see this "noice" in allmost every DVX grab.

Jestorius, did you ever buy a camera? I remember months ago you were debating whether or not to go with the XL2 or DVX?

disjecta - I have a few cams. I'm running a small company where we are using 4x150PD. The next invest gonna be 4 x PD190 (Z1). If Sony didn't advertise the HDV and the broadcast supplier didn't show me the sony HDV footage .... than I think we had 4 XL2 today. I was very interested in DVX but now... it is HD for all the money. If the Sony not going to be as good as I think than it gonna be 2x570 and the PD150 we have.

I have to wait I guess. Maybe I give a DVX to my kids. They like films. The problem is that we have to spend a few 10K before the end of the year. So we gonna spend it. If it not gonna be a cam than it gonna be a new steadycam, cran, company car or something.

I'm just curious, what is "noice"? Do you mean that disjecta posted "noice" as in "nice" grabs? ;)

great grabs as usual disjecta... 8) when you say +5 chroma, do you mean level or phase?

for the timelapse, you didn't use the dvx timelapse feature, just shot straight up 30 min of footage and sped up in your nle? thanks!

Boo, I meant the chroma level, the phase is like a hue, which would distort all colors.

Given that this was such a relatively short timelapse, I just did sped it up in post.
