Fake trailer shot on T2i

Hey all! So, the movie Hobo! With a Shotgun (Which was, in part, shot on the Canon T2i) recently had a contest which invited people to create fake trailers. Some friends and I decided to not go the grindhouse feel and go a different route. (We did not make the top 5)

You can check it here:

thoguhts? It was shot, edited, color corrected, ADR'd, mixed, and the VFX were done in a week.

It was shot on the:
kit 18-55
50mm 1.8
25-70L
70-200L

Audio was done on the Tascam DR100, as well as ADR (Which, sadly, did not mix very well)

I think if you would have worked on the sound better it would be more believable. In my opinion the sound is the weakest point of the project. Looks like you people tried and gave a good effort, but the green screen was not to good and the acting could have been better.

I would say good try, but I have seen a lot better.

Thanks :) And yes; The audio is definitely the weakest point, I agree there. The green screen shot definitely could have been better. But we did not have time to light the screen properly (Excuses, Excuses, I know :P) and that, coupled with the 4:2:0 color spacing made it a ***** to get even that out of our key.

The audio was rushed, and there was a lot of confusion as to who was doing what (Lots of miscommunication, due to the director/Executive producer micromanaging) so we did not get a proper mix.

But; them's the breaks when you have no time, or money.
thank you for being honest :)

Here is the other Honest, I respect you for working and putting out a project. It is a lot more than other people that will never do anything with their lives. Learn from your mistakes and put out a better project. This is not bad and I actually think it has a lot of good things, it just needed more time to polish it.

Never stop shooting even when something doesn't come out rite, the people that make it are the ones who NEVER give up!
