F900: Is Monitor Out showing me noise not being recorded by sensor?

I am thinking of getting either a Miranda DVC 800 for my ki pro or buying a HDCAM deck and shooting tape... i honestly believe the monitor out is giving me noise in the signal thats not actually there. Has anyone whos used an F900 or F900/3 ever noticed noise in the signal that doesnt end up on the final picture? i just am beginning not to trust using an analog output for my capture signal.

Just wanted to update people and let them know that I was right in that the monitor out was feeding me signal noise that wasnt in the actual signal.. i do not recommend anyone using monitor out as a signal to record as your main source.

This is a maybe. Typical with age many cameras end up with capacitors drying out. I've seen this on Digi-Beta and HD Cams. Also had the same problem with Sony and Panasonic VTRs. I also recall a Sony DVS switcher having to have boards replaced because it was cheaper to do that as the labor to do the job was going to be greater than the cost of the boards. In all instances the drying capacitors caused noise on the outputs and if it got really bad it started to look like horizontal lines of noise.
