F65: F65... Well, so much for that idea.

Just bought an F65 used about a month ago. Lovely image quality, but a beast of a camera compared to the newer breed of 4K cameras.

Anyways, just got a text this morning. The rental house that sold me the camera potentially has a job lined up for the camera this summer and would like to purchase the camera back at a healthy profit. Just throwing this out there as more anecdotal proof that the F65, while not in huge demand like the Reds and Arris, still has some demand.

Those videos by my old compatriot at AbelCine are from a LONG time ago, and there have been numerous changes over time. The files can go through Resolve now and in general the post workflow is much easier. Still this is not a camera system for all, and it must be recognized that it is a sizable beast with some heavy associated costs.

I have been shooting F65 going on two years. I haven't moved to the SRD1 and with a small amount of patience using the SRPC4 is easy.

I find it hilarious that F35 users would bash Sony for selling their card reader at that price. Ten years ago you needed a £60,000 SR deck and mega raid setup to capture that material.

If if anyone wants real world experience with the F65, you know where to find me.
