I was wondering if anyone else has an issue with their F65 in which the PL lock doesn't turn entirely to the locked position due to being to tight, to accommodate the Lens mount?
I've tested with both the Zeiss Ultra Primes and the Cinealta 4k Primes. I have the same issue with both. I can see noticeable wear on the Plastic Body Cap as well, which further gives an indication that there isn't enough room to adequately lock.
How can I fix this issue? Can I do anything to correct this without having to send it in for adjustment via the Sony Service center? I was quoted at $1200 just for an assement...
Also, Is there a Parts/Repair Manual available anywhere online? I bought my camera second hand with less than 200H on it from Ljud & bildmedia camera rental in Sweden. I was told it was in impeccable condition, unfortunately that turned out not to be the case,
The VF slide plate was cracked in half separating the EVF from the mount, and although I was assured that the camera was insured through Fedex during transport... It turned out not to be... The Seller has "bailed out" of responsibility, so I'm now stuck with the repair costs..
Thanks!
