I still keep getting stuck on that top handle, however. Looks really cheap for a Spny pro product. Is it rigid or flimsy? Would you trust it for some crazy handling of the camera?

I see Sony have started marketing an £800 zoom remote for this lens here:

I wonder why then they market the F5 and F55 alongside the SCL-Z18X140 if you're going to have to dish out more money to make it work with another add-on. At least that's one thing the F3 can do well. It could be a financial blessing to jump ship at this time. Call me when the F7 and F77 come along. :thumbsup:
