F35 and LUT versus 5219

But in a month I'm helping another mate out with a short being shot on 500T and S4's. If we finnish early and there's some spare stock in a mag, I'll try and shoot something

That looks really interesting- I think resolve already does this though- or maybe speed grade- can't recall.
I wonder if the results would be somewhat coarse given it is only using 18 color target, It would be pretty cool if you could use one of these targets instead:

It might also be worth checking out the 2009 digital camera evaluation where they put up the Red One, D21, Varicam, F23, F35, Genesis & Viper against 5217, 5219, 5205 & 5207. There is a bluray available and to my eyes and the commentary the F35 comes the closest to film.

You could buy a blu-ray from that test I think, I nearly did but it was $100 that I didn't have at the time.

It may have been the BSC test, they also did a similar one.
