F3 Group Buy for the ProLock....

Thank you guys, girls- it's very rewarding to hear such a feedback. To me it's all about the product... Good products are easy to sell not much overhead needed. Just straight answers. That's all...
 
FYI, I am not in charge of this group buy. This thread was resurrected from the group buy that I arranged with Jacek last year. That group buy went very well. Jacek is easy to work with and the ProLock is one of the accessories that I use the most on the F3. That and a top cheese plate. Well constructed, does what its supposed to do and doesn't feel clunky.
 
Thanks Duke. We need more peeps here- it's gonna be a rush when the f5/55 starts shipping- get in line with discounts now!!!
 
I might add that the more people you guys get lined up ahead of time the bigger the discount Jacek gives you, so talk to each other.
 
Since I have the prolock for the RED One and the prolock for the Epic....might as well get one for the F3. +1 for me please. Do we need to notify Optitek ? THanks.

What is the consensus abou the built in reducer like the speedbooster?. It would have to be semi permanent as it changes the flange depth...
 
Jacek -- I would love one, it would be great with Nikon FF lenses and would like it even more if you could activate VR while you are at it.
 
OK I'm interested in a group buy, is the board still doing this and if so where are we at now numbers wise?
 
Will this adaptor let me use Nikon lenses on an Sony F35 - i.e will the PL mount fit the F35, my Red 17-50mm won't. Thanks.

Unfortunately not, the 'FZ' mount found on the F3/F5/F55 is a switchable mount system, the F35's mount is 'fixed'. You'd need to modify either the 17-50mm or the mount on your F35 to get the tolerances between the two to match.

I'd love to see one in an FZ mount! Though what I'd really like is to see it in an FZ-to-PL mount (get those CP.2s and Mini-S4s working at a nicer stop!).

That would have to be a new PL adapter, the data connector would be lost. I'm not sure if that's such a good idea.
The Nikon would probably make more sense.
anyway- Any more takers for the Group Buy?

I'm getting signals that the first F5/55 cams will be delivered in a couple of weeks.
