where are all these people getting the voigtlander f095 25mm? I would like to purchase one.

Got mine from www.photovillage.com. Call them and ask them about existing orders and when they expect their next batch in. I prepaid in full to be sure that I got one of their incoming batch, and it worked out fine.

anyone know of any UK/Europe stockists of the Voigtländer Nokton 25mm f0.95?
been checking it out and decided on saving up for it :smile:
will the manufacturer end the production of this lens? or will it be available batch after batch? as it will be a while before i can actually afford one.

Certainly not -- it's the hottest thing going. It's brand new, they only just started making it, and they can't keep up with demand. There's tremendous demand for it.
They keep making them and shipping them out, and they're sold out and backordered everywhere. If it'll be a while before you can afford it, that probably works out, because by the time you can afford it, maybe they'll have caught up with the demand and availability will be easier.

i had also been looking at the panasonic 25mm f1.4... as i do enjoy auto focus for stills, this will obviously (id think) be better than the 20mm pancake but since i have the pancake would the 25mm voigtlander be the better choice?
i understand the answer my vary from person to person and use to use but any good info is good knowledge :smile: cheers

If you're in the UK like me then it'll work out at about £620 plus maybe £40 for shipping. Only catch is you need to put down a $100 deposit and the next production run isn't 'til sometime in April, and even then it's first come first serve. Don't know how long the waiting list is. Good luck finding it. It'll be a powerful ally once you do.

Add me to the list of happy PhotoVillage customers. I pre-paid in full to reserve the 25mm F0.95 Voigtlander lens from a shipment that was expected in 3 weeks, and actually received it sooner than that.
