Eye candy selects from 7D and HMC150

Greetings all,

I uploaded some selects from this past weeks shoot for some of the clients to view and figured I'd share it on here. The first part is all 7D footage and the 2nd and 3rd song are HMC150 footage. I'm new to the DSLR tip but man I'm in love. It's got amazing mojo and cinematic feel even too overlook the overheating issue and the many quirks of shooting with the camera. The end footage makes up for all of the PITA... Please comment and feel free to add feedback. Realize though that this is just selects and not a finished piece. It was all shot 720 60p.. atleast for this stuff.


Enjoy and I'm glad to be a part of the 7D family on DVXuser. I've been a longtime Panasonic and Canon guy though.. and I'm going to be buying the 550d when it ships.

Dude..That was freaken amazing! Love the slow mo reverse stuff. Very clever and with the bubbles..so good!
 
Thanks skilled... I do a lot of reverse video especially if its something like this, and or has to be an exact starting or ending point. Just makes it easier to get when time or crew is in short demand. cheers.
 
this looks very nice Justyn. Only thing i didnt like were some of the overexposed shots. Some worked for me ...some didnt. I;m guessing u did that purposely anyway. Nice to see the opteka once again.
 
Yes I can understand that... it's a very wide spectrum that I was having too deal with in a very confined space. The rim light was just too concentrated in some areas but I plan on putting all of that for one part of the piece and it'll work. I have some other over blown stuff that I shot that will match nicely. cheers
