Extremely slow Log and Transfer

I have plenty of HDD space, but every now and then I have a single card Log and Transfer time of 6-8 hours. My only thought is that I have a bad card. Any other possibilities?
 
hmm whats your computer specs? I would dump the card to your HDD first than log and transfer and see if that helps.
 
Mac Pro 8 core (2x3GHz), 8gb memory, rocket boosters (no, I made that up).

It seems to be just one card that does it. I might just retire the thing. I'm just curious if SD cards die of a slow leak like hard drives.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but just wanted to say What a nice city Phoenix is... I was there over the weekend to record the Tempe Arizona IronMan. Great weather! I envy you, we have 30 degree lower temperature and will be getting snow and rain for thanksgiving! :violin:
 
Chicago is over-saturated as well... i was hoping that we had a better budget for the production of the IronMan, I wanted to put a call to Arizona shooters to get a few local people that knew the lay of the land really good, but thanks to google maps and iphone we manage to move around the day of the race.
Should be posting a short clip from this project soon!. Were you anywhere near the event on Sunday?
