External Viewfinder for GL2?

I'm looking into getting a Redrock M2 and shoulder mount for my GL2, and I was wondering if there was any sort of "External Side Viewfinder" I could attach to it. Something along these lines:

(From what I've read, the FU-500 thats used in this picture can't really be attached to most cameras. )

I know I could attach an external LCD monitor, but I would much prefer a view finder. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Haha, whats wrong with the GL2? The nice part about this equipment is when I upgrade something like my camera, most of it will all still be usable. (May need a new step down ring, but I digress.) I got the GL2 about a year ago, and don't feel like buying a whole new camera while it still works fine. I just won $2000 from a film competition, so that's why I'm looking into the Redrock and stuff.

if that can be attached to a HV20, hopefully it can be attched to a GL2. if not, really Canon? really?

but personally I was NOT impressed at the quality of the view finders I have found on the XL1 & XL1s. I think they would be next to useless for trying to focus a DOF/FOV adapter

if you can, and into DIY projects, try to pick up an old betacam viewfinder on ebay. you'd just have to figure out how to power the thing & hook it up
