I have a Marantz 660 external recorder and need to buy another recorder.
I have heard about zoom but because the price is about half, I was wondering if the quality of the recording is ok, and what are the files like. WAV?
The one thing I don't like about the Marrantz is once you start recording the files are just numbered and if you record for a long time (uninterupted) you could end up with 30 or so files. Does the Zoom h4n record the same way or is it one long file till you stop recording?
