External 1394 Disconnect

hello
i shoot 720 24pN
and when ever i try and shoot tape, 1080, dvcpro, 50
it always says EXTERNAL 1394 DISCONNECT
i dont know what to do
help?

Are you trying to shoot 1080, dvcpro, 50 to tape?

Because you cannot.

Just DV25 and that requires you to go into the tape mode.

I'm not sure from your post what you're trying to do - but you should also note that the PN modes do not send any signal out of the FireWire port. If you're using a FireWire device then you must set the HVX to 720P (or 1080, which always gets sent via FireWire).
