EXPORTING IN 24P on FCP? HELP!

Hey Everyone -

So here's the problem: I finished this project that was shot in 24p on the DVX100a that needed some post special effects done. I exported it out and sent it to our post guy, but he is seeing added fields to the work. How do I export to true 24p?? He is saying that it's coming out 29.97 (every 5th frame is added). As you can imagine, this makes it very difficult to put special effects in.

hi, was your editing timebase 23.98? if you're sending it to a post production house for color grading or transfer to film it's better to export it to 10 bit uncompressed. You can find it inside sequence then settings. hope this helps.
