Exporting Final Project

I'm near completing my new horror film. Shot with the A1 and a P+S technik 35mm adapter. I want to upload it to my myspace page (currently my networking site) but I'm not sure which type of file I should export to. It needs to be under 100mb I believe and it also needs to be 4:3. Anyone know the best way to do this? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

I can tell you how I would do it in Premiere Pro 2.0 and hopefully it will help.

1. Export HD file out as an AVI.

2. Bring the HD AVI into a new 4:3 SD project.

3. Drop the HD file onto the timeline, then scale it down using the motion tool. This should give you a 4:3 letterboxed version.

4. From here I would render then export it in whatever format I need.

You could export it as a DV or Mpeg2 file then take it into something like Sorenson Squeeze, or if you're on an Apple and Final Cut, I'm not sure but isn't Compressor included with all that? That would be my best method. Bear in mind I haven't had my A1 for a long time, and I am still figuring out the best workflow for my projects, so I am in no way an expert.

I'm not sure what kind of video file Myspace normally uses, but if I had to guess I would say Flash.

Also, I've heard that when downconverting HD to SD, it is best to sharpen a little bit as HD downconversions (especially Premiere) can be softer than normal sometimes.

Hopefully this gives you some ideas or a solution.
