Experimenting with lens

I recently bought a second-hand GH1 (I'm a DVX100B user and finally switched to HD)! My old Kern Vario Switar 16-100mm (I have a Bolex H16RX too!) won't cover my GH1 sensor, and won't focus properly. So, I decided I might use a set of Olympus MD SLR lenses that I have lying around. Whilst waiting for the adapter at arrive, I thought I'd hand hold the 28mm lens in front of the GH1 and see what I got. The results have an interesting look. Anyone know for a fact which 16mm film lenses will work without needing cropping, or do I need very expensive super 16 lenses?
 
Unfortunately I can't answer your question about super 16 lenses, but I thought I'd say that that's a nice little test. I love doing that with lenses, but always afraid I'm going to get dust on the sensor.
