I'd had a negative experience one day whilst shooting and went home and wrote this little character experiment straight after. Shot on the C300. I would have put this on vimeo, but for some reason my vimeo uploads have been failing the last two months - every time.

Nice work Noel. Really liked how it was shot from behind and how understated the acting was. Reminds me of a John Cassavetes film.
If you have not already seen it, check out his 1974 film, A Women Under The Influence. Brilliant.

Very nicely done, Noel. Well cast and played, very nicely shot. Your C300 is looking great!

Good job on the gloomy weather, too!

Makes me wonder what happened on your shoot to inspire this?

Great look, and story. Makes me also wonder what happened to inspire this? Also would like to know more about your CP file, method of grading, and lens info.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Im glad people are enjoying it.

Camera Info:
C300 shot in Canon Log - sharpness @ -7

Lenses used:
17-55 IS EFS
70-200 IS F2.8L

Edited in FCXP
Graded in Davinci Resolve
To be a touch more specific on grade - R1 - Curves, R2 - RGB colour timing, R3 - Power window adjustment, R4 - Power window adjustment, R5 - Primary out. Pretty much across the board.

Was inspired to write the story due to someone doing something very very underhanded which disappointed me greatly. I wanted to turn that negative into something positive and created this. I obviously cant go into any further public detail than that.
