Last night was the longest night of my life I think.
I had been up since 7am, got on set at 3pm, actually started filming stuff with the police car at 6:30, got started with the main cast (including myself) at 10:30 and didn't wrap until 5 am this morning. We shot almost 9 pages of script. 15 minutes into filming we tripped the breaker because we had too many lights being powered by on recept. We also froze our tails off. It was a rough night, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. That was probably the worst scene in the film to shoot logisitcs wise, and we didn't quite finish but we got enough of it done so that the next time won't be a big deal. The police car looked fantastic, we actually even had a little stunt driving with it going on. Awesome!
I showed him what to buy, and he got it for us. It really wasn't too expensive. I got the shirt/pants/patches from an online uniform vendor and I already had the hat, and he wore his own boots.
oh and we had a real leather police belt with all the doohickeys, and a real beretta (we had an armorer to make sure it wasn't loaded)
First look at a few clips of footage from the film. I'm not showing this to anyone but my filmmaking comrades here and at another site. Want to save it for the trailers/film. So because of that, its password protected. There is no audio because as I said, this isn't mean to be anything other than a showing of a few clips of footage.
