EX1 video out

Hi everyone.. i need a little help with the rented EX1 i have in my hands.
I need to run an external LCD monitor on the cam, so i can flip the images created by my SGPro 35mm converter!
On my regular PD150, there is a standard video out (yellow cable) which produces a feed for my monitor.
On the EX1 there are several small connectors, and the SDI out.

Which one do i use to monitor the video only for my cam-top LCD?

The kit came with a cable for the 'AV out' slot, but does not seem to produce a signal my monitor can 'see'.

will SDI with an appropriate connector (and adpator) do the trick, if so is the cable just a standard yellow video cable (aka the PD150)?

Any help would be really great, as 2moro morning i have a shoot, which will all have to be filmed with the footage viewed upside down... which will be very tricky.

Sony makes a breakout cable with SVHS connection, search for it on the forum here.

The LCD monitor that i have (Nebtek) only has a 'phono' style yellow jack not an SVHS connector.

I tried the cable (with a phone style yellow jack) that came with the cam.... but no joy!

hmm.... this could be a pain.
