EVS online A++.

Just posting to let everyone know that Rush and the gang at EVS are awesome. Just a few examples
1. Rush knows what he is talking about. He uses the equipment he sells and is open with his opinion. He is NOT the type of "salesman" who is trying to spin information one way or another to get you to buy what he wants.
2. EVERY person we saw was friendly and happy - in fact, they all bordered on downright JOLLY. In most situations, happy staff = good company. Maybe EVS gives the guys some funky Kool-Aid every morning. Whatever it is, it works.
3. I now have a DVX.
4. I now have a DVX.

thanks again Rush.

as a side note - we did a little side-by-side with the AT 4073a and the ME66 - IMHO The ME66 won hands down - much more accurate and better sounding- plus more versatile

You have got to be kidding me

in context, this was a quick/limited side by side in the showroom - i know a lot of people have been touting the AT, so I'm not dismissing it or writing it off at all. BUT, the Senn is still on my potential equipment list, as is the AT.

I've ordered stuff from EVS and maintain that they are the greatest seller of anything camera related. Unless I'm Ebaying, I'm EVSing. Ive spoke with Rush and trust him as someone who would rather have a customer for life by doing several smaller purchases that he believes in rather than just one big misguided one and then never having the customer come back. EVS is by far the best service I have ever received, and when you are dropped several grand at once, it's nice to have that service to go along with it...

I am going to not comment on the mic thing.

All hail EVS

All hail EVS

Spoke with Rush yesterday and ordered the 100A, received it today before noon! Wow, great job. I have to heap on the praise because it is so deserved. No high pressure sales, knowledgeable and friendly staff and FAST service. Another satisfied customer.

i dont think so.. EVS is a very non-online kinda place, lots of local business in LA to keep them busy. If we (or online anywhere) gave them half of their business, I wouldn't hafta nag them to get a better website :) (sorry rush)

Hi mjfvsm, thank you very much, and I am going to make a note to bring in Koolaid everyday now. I think Tommy was the one that spiked it right. We call him Party boy Tommy.

PS: That was the ME64. It sounds richer than the ME66.

I appreciate that sir, and hope to continue serving you and DVXusers everywhere. :)

Thank you aces! :) Gotta love Vegas, one day shipping from LA for the price of 3-day  Just makes ya feel like a high-roller!

I know our site needs help  It's a daily thing, y'know, but as you said, we concentrate most of our efforts on local stuff. Rentals are actually a huge percentage of our profit, which is my primary department as Rentals Manager, and we also derive great sales and profit from tape department, followed by local equipment sales, then internet/non-local sales.
