EVS got 7 cameras

Well I finally have word today, due to cancellations/swaps, we are up to position 16. Moving right along. :)
 
Hey, so that's a 50% cancellation rate, which should likely only increase as we get further along. Slightly more tolerable. Still conflicted with just picking up the HD100U *now*, though.

I hate to say it but for everyone's sake over #100, I hope so.
 
Good seeing you today Rush. Man, you guys were really swamped. What's funny was while I was there picking up my lite panel kit (kicks ass btw!), I saw one HVX go out on rental, one guy picking up his HVX, and overheard Hakkon calling in about picking his up as well. A total stranger there would think you guys had a wherehouse full of hvx's in the back and they were just flying off the shelves.
Oh yeah, and Casey was very very helpful and was an all around great guy.
 
I picked mine up today from Rush (there were actually two other people in the store buying HVXes while I was there as well!) and I will definitely post some footage and my thoughts shortly. Today was an extremely busy day and I didn't get to do a whole lot of shooting, but I was able to get a very solid feel for it in the short time that I did. It isn't without its faults (a few things have been discussed more than once now, and some things are nitpicky things that I just personally have with it), but overall I am very satisfied. The HVX is a total winner.

It was a madhouse!

Haakon, congrats dude, I pocketed your cash and am heading to Tijuana as we speak. :grin: Man, you looked beat, dude. I thought I was tired. You looked like you were going one on one with this thing. :laugh:
