Evie - Mark Harris

All right, I'm back in. Sort of. I felt like a douche to drop out, so I am putting up one of the scenes(unfinished and still rough) so as to collect feedback. Calling it a "work in progress." not concerned with voting or prizes this time around, just wanted to contribute something because I'd been involved with the fest. But it is 6 min, so technically, a legit compete film.

No Sound mix. Herman has not laid a finger on it. Much of the coloring is temp. Rough around the edges. But it will be valuable for me to get feedback on how well the scene works.

So in the spirit of openness about the process fostered by my hero, Zak Forsman, I am putting it up.

I was going to tell Jason to go bug you because you didn't enter last Fest either but I had a sneaking feeling that you would be entering something for this one. :evil:

Great, Mark! I'm sure you will not regret it. I'm sure your entry will be one of the best even without the "tweaks." Good to see you back in.
 
so many people were posting "you've made the right decision" i didn't want to come in and be all devil's advocate. but this is more like it. glad you're participating. these fests are a tremendous opportunity for feedback at any level.
 
sweeeet. Very cool to throw it out there for feedback in its raw form. Then people can see how much work goes into a final project on a Mark Harris film.
 
Just now getting around to checking out the other threads now, Mark, and glad to see you're in. Always enjoy your entries, though I can't say I was really wanting YOU and your usual team as competition. :cry:
 
Dude, seriously cant wait to see what you;ve come up with. You come up with stories that make me wish I had written them. Other stories I can just enjoy and its all cool, but you struck a real nerve with RPDM where I WISHED i had written that more. Original, fresh, well told, ****ing awesome.

So now I REALLY can't wait to see what you've got for us.
