I liked the angles and use of foreground but personally i would have liked those shots to be locked down on some sticks rather than handheld. When you add in foreground elements a shakey shot becomes very disturbing to me.

thx for your feedback,
always appreciating some.
, and yeah, i´d love to have had a tripod,
but actually i haven´t. just had my camera with me. kind of the reason why i went all the way with that freaky music,
cause first i was going to take some classic, but then the shoots seemed even more wobbely and schwobbely.

I'm actually surprised at how clean the image is for such a high ISO. I shot on 640 this weekend and the footage looks pretty dirty.

I really love the shots put into this video, I personally love the use of seeing a subject through a bunch of out of focus objects near the camera, those usual creative things that really add a dreamy feel. I thought the color was great (was it just from in-camera?), I didn't see a bit of noise in the small player, and I only saw a few small shots that may not have held as much interest or purpose as all the others (there's one part where there's a bunch of macro shots of the machinery, handles, and buttons, and I think it's this part that may feel a little clogged). I thought it was outstanding the way the music truly fit the video both with the shots changing with the movement of the music and the scenery (especially the candles) truly giving off a slight Asian flare with a mysterious feel. Then of coarse, I think this video would have truly benefitted from an IS lens, I think the handheld movement is truly needed for the air of this video (the tension, the mysterious feel, the tempo), but I think the prime lens (I'm guessing this is what your using) is causing just a bit too much shake.

Other than those things, there's really nothing to pick at, this video really is pretty outstanding, it tells the story well, uses fantastic shots to keep you interested, uses a very, very fitting opening and closing text, and overall, if you're doing videography professionally, this is one video I'd be sure to put on your Youtube profile or business website, I think your knack for shots and a bit of storytelling really would appeal to businesses or music artists that want to create artistic looking videos - combine your customers both seeing something like this, and giving them a fair price, it'd seem alot of people would eat your skills right up if they need projects done!

yes and thank you very much for your feedback,
i would sign your comment regarding some makroshoots, that are kind of not fitting,
maybe i´ll create a shorter version sometime without those shoots.
