Even more D90 footage.

Here is some footage I had before moving to Vancouver. Various shots, various lenses, various conditions. Not really an edit, more of a collection of clips, some heavily CCed others not at all. Went for a very old film look in one of the clips.

man, that was so amazing. videos like that really make me wanna get the D90/D5000.
Great job on the CC. What software do you use?
 
Adobe cs3 and magic bullet looks. The d90 has some serious serious limitations. The dream camera has yet to drop. I am still hoping Nikon comes through with something awesome in the near future, or even a straight up video camera.
 
Would a manual control firmware update help your limitations? or are you speaking of the 5min, codec, 1080p limitations?

Everyone uses MBL :( i can't afford that. Too bad premiere can't CC like MBL can.
 
The codec, manual controls, rolling shutter etc. I really hope they step it up, Canon seems to have gotten it figured out. If the 5d gets another firmware update to allow 24p, that may just be enough to seal the deal. Time will tell.
 
You can do everything looks does in premiere using stock filters and composites, it just takes a little more work, and more thinking since you don't have the presets to start with. Most presets are basically contrast, tint, diffuse, contrast, curves, not that advanced really.
 
I should mention that there are only about 3 clips in the video that were CCed at all. The rest were all stock d90.
