evaluation of a shoulder rig for t3i

Is this rig as good as the enforcer or marauder by Zacuto for my canon t3i ?

Sure the build quality is not. But for stabilization, would it be about the same ?

Not really. The one you've linked to looks terribly designed - the whole thing is front heavy so you'll get fatigued very quickly. In fact, the way it is balanced would make it feel much heavier than just handholding the camera (basic laws of physics and levers!).

Although I still wouldn't recommend such a cheap stabilizer, the one Imamacuser posted is a much better design as the bulk of the weight sits between the handles and the shoulder, spreading the weight out and reducing the load on your arms. You'd still probably want to add some weight at the back to balance it out though.

Ideally, you want the rig to sit on your shoulder without using your hands. With no counterweight, I don't see the point of a bigger rig: I'd rather stick to the MagicRig, which folds down very small; it's no good for walking, but it makes you an easily-movable human tripod.
