EVA1: EVA1 User Footage Compilation

Yes the actual footage difference between the various high end cameras is starting to blur, as they reach a common or similar image quality. The native “look”of theses cameras is starting to meld.
Cheers

You think so? I'm not seeing any cameras that natively look like the Arris for example. Apart from other Arris of course. Not even with LUTs and heavy grading. I think the native looks are still pretty much the same. The EVA is unquestionably Panasonic in its look as a FS5 is Sony and C200 is Canon.

Yes, I agree, but the gap and differences between them are becoming less, and more subtle. But, there is still a difference. The Blackmagic 4.6 sensor is very close in IQ to the Alexia, but still not quite the same to the trained eye. The average movie goer is not going to see these subtle differences.
Cheers

I wasn't talking only quality but also about looks. And I don't think the Ursa is very close to the Arri at all. FPN and other problems totally takes it out of the Arri's league. The only camera which can truly run beside the Arri is the F35, which is ironic since it's basically as old as the Arris themselves. The rest still gives you a digital video look IMO. The Ursa much less so. It has the most organic look outside of Arri and F35. But it has other serious problems.
