EVA1: EVA1 and Lumix SI as B-Cam. What a great match!

I was shooting an interview with the S1 and big brother EVA1 in a 2 camera setup. Unfortunately the footage is still confidential but I can assure you the match in V-LOG is outstanding. Much better than the GH5. Almost like having a second EVA1. I will show pictures as soon as they are published from the client

A few questions, if you don't mind.

1) I assume you still prefer EVA1?

2) Since this looks like the 24-105, how was the auto focus?

3) Would a non-pixel peeper be able to tell EVA1 from S1 after the grading? The same goes for pixel peepers as well.

4) Have you tried other lenses with S1 insofar as the match with EVA1 goes?

I am not a pixel peeper. For me it was hard to tell.

I have the 50/1.4 but used it one for stills so far with the S1R. Love it!
I also have a bag of FD glass but this was my 1st project after the V-Log update and I only used the 24-105 with a 1.2 ND screw on

Thanks for the report, Clermond. Technology is amazing (mit Jagdwurst, Kartoffelsalat, Sauerkraut und zwei Biere).
 
I’m using Zeiss ZM primes made for Leica M via macro adapter. I have the zm 34mm 1.4 and the 85mm f4.
They are really nice weigh a third of their “DSLR” equivalents really nice balance with the s1 and battery grip for barebones handheld shooting.
 
Noticed you have the SmallRig cage for the S1 which I also am using, nice setup. I was ponding a top handle today, and found a leftover NATO rail from my Movcam GH5 cage and bolted it to the top of the SmallRig S1 cage and now I can use my Movcam twist handle on the SmallRig cage. I also have the LanParte extension for the XLR unit so I can mount the XLR unit on the cage cold shoe mount and end up with this setup.

Can you flip up the audio clear plastic cover with it in that position?
 
Yes it has clearance. Can also position the xlr unit vertically on the back of the handle, I’ve done that too.
