Ive recently bought a GH2 and have been buying lots of lenses from ebay to go on the front of it. Apologies if I use the wrong terminology i've read lots about the camera and various lenses on the net but i'm new to all this so might get the wrong words in the wrong place!
It's all been very fun and exciting but now im a little confused. I bought an Ernitec 8mm TV Lens C mount to go with the c mount adaptor i have. The issue is that this lens's flange ( i think thats the bit that sticks out of the back of the lens once its screwed into the adaptor) sticks out (in to the camera body) a long way. I've measured that it sticks into the body 12mm, this is more than any other lens I have and i'm worries that if i take a photo/video the shutter will hit the back of the lens and break.
I searched online to see if I could find the distance from the camera body to the shutter but couldn't find out what this distance is. Hopefully someone here will know and that way I wont break my new camera!
