Epic Program playing real time clips in Final Cut. Anyone using it?

I saw this ad for Epic. Basically it does a conversion in the background more or less, making it appear to play realtime clips directly. But in all reality it's still not playing the clips realtime. Aside from that looks interesting. Anyone using this software?

Also, like a dummy I forgot to put the r in the word realtime for the thread heading. Anyone know how I can edit that?

lol @ ealtime... If you go to advance edit you can edit it, but I dont think the change happens right away as I screwed up in one of my posts and "fixed" it. Still hasnt been "fixed" tho.

no I havent heard of the app nor used it. Looks interesting though.

well... I can use the excuse that the word ealtime means it's almost realtime.

I'd be willing to give it a try. I guess it would be useful for a select few who do SDEs.

The best workflow for 550d and FCP is the E1 Plugin... and it's free too
