I've just received my 7d, and shot some footage with it, I will be shooting a full feature film in a few days and I want to make use of the picture styles editor to make my custom gamma. The thing is that I realised that I didn't get the canon cd with my 7d. I've been on the phone with the shop and been there 3 times, and they claim that the box has not been opened or tampered with and that they can't give me the cd from another box.

I am in dire need of the canon eos utiliy, would anyone be so kind as to upload it and give me the link. Thanks alot.

I have tried this already, but they only have updates which need the original 7d eos utility, which seems to be 2.7.0, to be installed, so I still need the utility. I managed to find an older eos utility 2.5.something but that won't recognise the 7d, what a frustration eh. Ok, whoever helps me with this will be in the movie credits as an ultra special thanks :D .

@srboraa if u want people to help u might want to be a bit more forthcoming with info like

1) filled in the location field of your user profile - forum members can then see what town u r in and you never know ... there might be someone close by with a 7D CD

2) state which system you are using - mac or PC

BTW - The cd is 250 meg total for both windows and mac

Good idea J Davis, so I did. I am located in Belgrade, Serbia and am using Win XP 32 bit . I have already tried lowering the contrast in-camera in the picture styles option, but it doesn't change the highlight information that much, also there is no gamma option and it seems that even if I push the values to the extreme I get only a very subtle changes.

Is there any other way to upload a custom picture style to the 7d? Maybe some other 3rd party software... ?

Thanks for the replies
