Question for anyone who has edited 4K footage from the Canon EOS 1DC.
After you have ingested it into an editing program like Premiere Pro CS6, how smooth is the playback when editing?

At one point Joff mentions that even after ingesting the 4K footage, the playback remained "a little choppy".
If the playback is still choppy at 4K, would it still be so if you were to follow a 2K workflow for editing (prior to recapturing the finished edit in 4K).
Thinking about that makes me wonder if my 15" macbook pro retina (2.6 Ghz intel core i7, 16GB 1600 Mhz DDR3 RAM) could handle editing 4K files from the 1DC.
NOTE: I didn't mean to select "C300" for this message prefix but there is no 1DC or "other" prefix as an option to select.
