I must commend you on the look and tone. Cinematography was especially... un-DLSR like in that you were able to capture beautiful skin tones that felt natural and not crushed. The compositions and pacing of the edit had a great naturalist feel that reminds me of David Gordon Green.

The plot is just a bit simplistic for my taste.
 
Yes, very nice look that doesn't readily betray its DSLR origins. How much of that look did you get in camera, or is there a lot of post production involved in the coloring?
