Hey All,

A music I directed / edited just went live today.

I had the pleasure of working with a very talented artist I've known for a few years, Emma-Lee. I think you'll agree her voice is as stunning as she is.

UPDATE: The song was featured on Degrassi on Much Music last night, and they posted the video right on their homepage! (And in the process made it look as awful as possible..)

That was beautiful. Both song and the visuals. (Maybe Im a font snob, but IMO the title font and size needs to go! Only amateur thing in this video) Everything else is really nice and quite tamed.:thumbsup:
 
if there is one thing I fail in life at.. it is font selection.. I kid you not.. I get called out on it everytime.. lol
 
Your footage really is gorgeous. some really rich shots in there...

I'd love it if you could talk a bit about your lighting setup, etc...

I was working with a great DP, Kristin Fieldhouse on this video. My 'vision' for the video was to have the entire thing always in motion. Every shot had to, pardon the pun 'flow'. Using the dolly really added a lot of time to each setup but I think it made a world of difference.

I hadn't seen the location before showing up to shoot the video, but I tried to find areas to shoot in that would pop visually. Thankfully the sun co-operated with us.

Once I had my shot setup my DP ran with it and made sure it looked it's best.

Really nice video, dawg. Pretty song. Pretty voice. Pretty girl. Great shot of the farm house. That sky was perfect for that shot.
 
This was just beautiful! Great video and very well shot. Everything looked great. This video is A+ and so is Emma. This video and song should be everywhere as I'm sure it will be soon. BTW - What was that sun reflector thing in the first BTS shot? Was that to cast shadows?

It was a large silk to help soften the direct sunlight on her. Our 1st AC had a brilliant idea to clamp some greenery to it to make it look like a tree from afar. worked pretty damn well.

I was wondering if that's what that was for. It did look fantastic. I really need to get one of those, because we're filming alot outdoors.
 
With a title like "Flow" I thought this was going to be a hip hop vid. I kept looking at the photo and going, what kind of rap is this gonna be. Then I saw the vid I was like, oh, that makes way more sense. LOL. I think the vid is hot and it looks very beautiful.
